The young Bangladeshi music talent Mainul Ahsan Noble surprised the judges as well as audience by performing a Lalon song in a recent episode of Zee Bangla musical reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on February 9.
In the show, Noble did the widely popular Lalon Geeti 'Milon Hobe Koto Dine' with a blend of new arrangement of music and in an original style.
The talented youngster, who won the hearts of the judges with his outstanding performance in the earlier episodes also, seems quite fearless and free to try a new form of song in different episodes of the musical show.
The judges are prominent music director Shantanu Moitra, singer Monali Thakur and singer Srikanto Acharya.
As Noble concluded the song, the show's audience and the judges, who seemed to be arising out of a magical spell of his song, congratulated him with loud applauds.
Srikanto Acharya was the first to leave his comment on Noble's performance. Quite impressed, he said that as Noble is coming up with new and newer forms of music in different episodes of the show, audience's expectation from him might not know no bounds at all.
Then, Monali Thakur said, "His (Noble's) style is so sincere that it is very pleasant to hear his song." Monali also praised the originality of the young singer's style and claimed that this is the reason why he has turned into a heartthrob of audience both in Kolkata and Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, music director Shantanu Moitra's optimism regarding Noble's future was even bigger. He said that within two or three years, Noble is going to be one of the biggest names in Bangladeshi music arena.
While Noble participated in the contest from Dhaka, Bangladesh, other perticipants of the episode were Pritom Roy (from Noyhati, India), Hriti Tikadar (from Durga Nagar, Kolkata, India), Shumon Mojumdar (from Krishnanagar, Nadia, India), Gurujit (from Durgapur, India) and Sneha Vottacharya ( from Domdom, Kolkata).
Although Noble could not get 'Golden Guitar' status on the day, he still obtained 9 out of 10 from all the judges.
Noble is regularly performing in the recent episodes of the reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, which are aired on the Indian Bangla TV channel Zee Bangla on Saturdays and Sundays.
In this season's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa show, Nobel's performances have not only drawn considerable appreciations from the judges but he is still being considered as one of the two or three best performers in the current episodes.
Earlier, noble got huge popularity among the audience both at home and abroad by singing songs like 'Baba' and 'Ma' of singer James, 'Shei Tumi Keno Ato Ochena Hole' of Ayub Bacchu, 'Firiye Daw' of Miles and some popular Hindi songs.
