The film would vie against the likes of Cannes Film Festival 2019 hits like It Must Be Heaven, a French-Canadian project by Elia Suleiman and winner of FIPRESCI or international critics' top award; documentary Gaza on the plight of Palestinians on the enclosed strip, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival, won top documentary award at Paris Foreign Press Awards, best docu-short at 33rd Goya Award; award winning The Orphanage and more robust rivals.
Farooki's film would be screened in Munich on June 29, 30 and July 1. It has also been selected for a film festival for expatriates from the Indian sub-continent in London, UK. Details of this festival will be disclosed soon. The film started its international tour winning two jury prizes in Moscow International Film Festival this year.
