As part of the initiative of the Southeast Asian Petroleum Exploration Society (SEAPEX), KrisEnergy, Bangladesh has already arranged 2 sessions and the third session was held on Wednesday.
The topic of the session was Gas Gun which was presented by Mr. Wade Davis, General Manager, Enhanced Drilling Solutions Co. Ltd (EDSL).
The programme that was arranged KrisEnergy and sponsored by Halliburton, was attended by Petrobangla, Cosmos Energy, Bapex, Universities, Geologists and other companies.
The SEAPEX launched its Bangladesh chapter at a colourful event in Dhaka last year.
The inauguration programme was opened by Michael Whibley, Seapex Committee Member and Asia Pacific Scoutcheck (APSC) Chairperson and Masud Khan, DMD Cosmos Group. Edwin Bowles, General Manager, KRISENERGY Bangladesh, amongst others were present there.
Singapore-based SEAPEX is a non-profit organization formed with an objective to promote petroleum and natural gas exploration, development, and production in Southeast Asia.
Every two years SEAPEX arranges a conference in Singapore which is one of the renowned and prestigious summits of oil and gas professionals in the Asia Pacific region.
This platform promotes new concepts and technologies for finding, developing, and producing hydrocarbons.
Moreover, the farmout session, which is an important integral part of this conference, allows investment opportunities for the industry stakeholders and govt. representatives.
Established in 1973 as a voluntary organization, SEAPEX has developed itself to have over 1,600 active members worldwide.
SEAPEX currently has over 600 worldwide Active, Life and Student Members. SEAPEX has a special arrangement for students and ASEAN citizens concerning membership fees.
