Mostofa Sarwar Farooki's unscreened film 'Shonibar Bikel' is taking part in the ongoing Sydney Film Festival in Australia. The film will be screened at Dendy Opera Quays Cinema Hall in Sydney. 'Shonibar Bikel' has been produced by Jaaz Multimedia and Chabial. Anna Katchko of Tandem Productions (Germany) serves as the co-producer. The film stars Zahid Hasan, Nusrat Imrose Tisha, popular Indian actor Parambrata Chatterjee, Palestinian actor Eyad Hourani and others.
Sydney Film Festival commenced on June 5. Around 250 films from across the world are being screened at the event. Director of 'Shonibar Bikel' Mostofa Sarwar Farooki and actress Nusrat Imrose Tisha will attend the festival, which will continue till June 16.
The title of the film translates to 'Saturday Afternoon' and dramatises the July 2016 attack on Holy Artisan cafe by extremists, who killed 22 of their hostages, including 18 foreigners.
