Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecast that there may be more rains across the country including Dhaka over a 72-hour period starting from 9 am on Monday.
"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely at many places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions; at a few places over Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country," the Met Office said.
Country's highest 10 mm rainfall was recorded in Netrakona in 24 hours till 6 am today.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
The country's highest temperature was recorded at 36.4 degree Celsius on Sunday in Rajshahi.
Meanwhile, monsoon is less active over Bangladesh and weak to moderate over North Bay.
