Band Obscure has released a new music video. Titled 'Surer Barputra,' the song has been dedicated to veteran music composer the Martyred Intellectual Altaf Mahmud. The music video was launched on February 21 on the official YouTube channel of Obscure. Sayed Hasan Tipu of Obscure has confirmed the news.

Lutfor Rahman Riton has written lyrics of the song while Obscure has composed and arranged music for the song. Shaon Mahmud, daughter of Altaf Mahmud has also voiced for the song. The part that goes like the intro of the original song- 'Amar Bhaiyer Rokte Rangano Ekushe February' has been voiced by Shaon.

Altaf Mahmud was a musician, cultural activist, and martyred freedom fighter of the Liberation War. He was also a language activist of the Language Movement and composer of "Amar Bhaier Rokte Rangano", the famous song written to commemorate the event. q
