It is an International Service Organization of women in Business or profession working with the mission advancing the status of women through service and advocacy. We are proud to be members of an organization that is working for the Women Empowerment for the past 100 years.
Zonta International envisions a world in which women have a right to reach her full potential, in such a world where no women live in fear or violence or shame. On the occasion of the Centennial celebration and Zonta branding, The Zonta Clubs in Bangladesh have embarked to celebrate 100 years of Zonta.
A commemorative souvenir was brought out highlighting Zonta's local and global projects.
In the last 100 years, women have come a long way but still there are gender gaps in education and skills. Violence against women is a burning issue and Zonta's signature project is "Ending Child Marriage" and say "No To Violence".
Zontians all over the world are committed to make the Centennial celebration insightful, inspiring and successful, encouraging for men and women, realizing that for any nation to prosper there must be gender equality to uphold the Principles of social justice.
