The latest iteration of the Cosmos Dialogues took on the issue of the UN's relevance to Bangladesh, at a time when perhaps for the very first time, a concerted wave of public opinion in the country threatens to turn against it, in light of the Rohingya crisis. As usual, a top notch panel's deliberations were followed by a very lively and enriching plenary, a credit to the overall attendance that reflected the cream of the Dhaka-based intelligentsia. Afterwards, most participants - even those who disagreed, got together to unwind in the evening, a picture of joie de vivre.
