Country's first surfing film 'No Dorai' is going to be released at the theatres on November 29. 'No Dorai' is a phrase derived from Chittagonian dialect which means 'not afraid'. Directed by young filmmaker Tanim Rahman Angshu, the film has been produced by the chairman of Star Cineplex Mahboob Rahman.
'No Dorai' is mostly made in Chittagonian dialect. The story of it sheds light on the life of girl named Ayesha, who outbraves the social norms to pursue her dream of being a successful surfer. Sunerah Binte Kamal as Ayesha and Sariful Raaz as Sohel have featured the lead roles. Other starrers of the film are- Josefine Lindegaard, Sayed Babu, Tommy Hindley, Lenka Marie, Pedro Principe, Hindol Roy, Thakur Proshad, Wasim Sitar, Azaz Bari, Kankan Das and Nasir Uddin Khan.
Popular Bangladeshi singer Xefer Rahman is the executive producer while the cinematographer of the film is Suman Sarker. The story of 'No Dorai' has been written by Shymol Sengupta. Trailer of the film has been already released on the official YouTube channel of Star Cineplex.
