The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence began on November 25, on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and continues until December 10, Human Rights Day.
The campaign is a call to action to create a world free of violence for women and girls. Zontians aim to amplify their voices and efforts to raise awareness, advocate for change, and make an impact in their communities.
Zonta Greater Dhaka had a live printmaking art season with Mayer Doya School students on Wednesday, November 27 at the Garden Gallery in Baridhara.
The participants included District Governor, Ztn.Dr. Zareen Delawar, Vice Area Director, Ztn Zahida Khatoon, District Service Chair, Ztn. Selina Mustafa, District Club Creator, Ztn. Mumtaz Chowdhury, Past Governors, Ztn Fahmida Kareem, Ztn.Naheed Moyeen, Foundation Ambassador, District 25, Ztn. Shaela Banu, District Treasurer, Ztn. Khadija Afzal, Finance Committee Chair, Ztn. Munira Naim, District Correspondent Secretary, Aniza Choudhury and Presidents from Club 1, Club 2, Club 3, Club 4.
Also participated included, past president, Immediate past president, EC board members and all the members of Zonta Club of Greater Dhaka.
Masud Jamil Khan, Honorary Consul of Ireland in Bangladesh, was the chief guest and Artist Farida Zaman was the special guest.
