Two noted figures of Bangladesh band music -Partha Barua and Partha Sharothi Majumder have won the heart of many music lovers through their soulful and unique voices. Now they have come up with the idea of starting a music school, which will provide the younger generation a platform to learn music. Guitar lessons will be taught at the school. Although they have not decided the name of the school yet, the academic programmes of the school will be started from the first week of October. Initially classes will be taken at Partha Barua's studio which is located at Mouchak in the city. Interested persons can book their seats at the school school by giving a message to Partha Barua or Partha Sharothi Majumder on facebook.
Partha Barua said, "We had a plan to start this kind of school for a long time. Our songs are not enough for encouraging the new generation to learn music. We want to provide practical knowledge for practicing music; it is prime duty particularly of the senior musicians to help the youth become good musicians. This is the motive behind the foundation of this music school."
Partha Barua and Partha Sharothi Majumder have been in a close friendship for more than four decades and doing music for a long time. Currently Partha Barua is the lead guitarist and vocalist of 'Souls', a top ranking band of the country which was founded in 1972.
