Loko Natyadal's new drama 'Aamra Tin Jon' was recently premiered at National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, Segunbagicha in the city. The drama is based on a story by Buddhadeb Basu. Liaquat Ali Lucky has directed the drama.
Story of 'Aamra Tin Jon' revolves around three friends of Old Dhaka on a day in 1927. Bikash, Asit and Hitangshu spend most of their daytime together. All three fall in love with a teenaged-girl. This girl named Antora becomes the center of imaginations, thoughts and interpersonal discourse among the three friends. In present times Bikash reminisces the events in that day from 1927.
Anannya Nishi who acted in Loko Natyadal's drama Kanjush plays the role of Antora in the new drama. Other actors are Liaquat Ali Lucky, Masoud Sumon, Fazlul Haque, Azizur Rahman Sujon, Swadesh Ranjan Dasgupta, Sonia Akter and more. Loko Natyadal previously brought up Buddhadeb Basu's another drama 'Tapashi O Tapashhini'. They have staged the drama more than half-a-century times by now.
First technical show of 'Aamra Tin Jon' was held on January 31 at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy but the premiere show was pushed back due to other engagements of the troupe.
