Popular Bangladeshi actor Jaya Ahsan is going to take the lead role in another mysterious horror movie of Kolkata, after immense success of her previous work of same genre titled 'Debi'. To be directed by Soukarya Ghosal, the title of the new movie is 'Bhootpori'. Ghoshal has also written the story and screenplay of the film. Soukarya is known for his previous work 'Rainbow Jelly', released in 2018. Produced under the banner of Surinder Films, 'Bhootpori' will be presented by Koel Mallick.

The story of 'Bhootpori' is basically based on biography of a ghost, where Jaya Ahsan will be featured as 'Banalata,' the ghost. Banalata is a lady who died in 1947. Restless soul of the departed lady meets a boy in 2019.

With the help of the boy, the ghost reveals the mystery behind her death. It was actually a planned murder. Then the little boy helps the ghost to find her murderer.

Jaya Ahsan is currently staying in Kolkata to work in this movie. The shooting will start from August 26 in Kolkata. Along with Jaya cast of the movie includes Ritwick Chakraborty, Sudipta Chakraborty, Shantilal Mukherjee and others.
