Bangladesh Musical Bands' Association (BAMBA) will organise a concert for raising awareness for differently-abled people. The concert will be held on September 28 at Army Stadium. Other organisers of the concert are Vocational Training Center (PFDA), BAMBA, Sky Tracker and Ministeries of Cultural Affairs and Social Welfare. Twelve bands enlisted with BAMBA will perform in the concert. Ticket price has been fixed at 200Tk. The bands are Miles, Warfaze, Souls, Shironamheen, Powersurge, Nemesis, Vikings, Dalchhut, Feedback, Arbovirus, Maqsood o' Dhaka and Dreek.
Tagore-Nazrul Mashup
A fusion of Nazrul and Tagore music has been made. Bappa Mazumder has made a mashup of two songs- one by Tagore and the other by Nazrul. The songs are "Amra Chanchal" by Tagore and "Mora Jhanjar Moto" by Nazrul. The songs have been voiced by a number of noted singers. They are Syed Abdul Hadi, Bappa Mazumder, Fahmida Nabi, Rezwana Choudhury Bannya, Kona, Oishi, Bappa Mazumder himself and Shuvo. Towfiq Ahmed has alos joined the crew with his Rap renditions. Grey Bangladesh Managing Director Gausul Alam Shawon has cooirdinated the project. The song has been made as theme song for the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resoruces. It has already been released on the official YouTube channel of the ministry. Soon it will be on private satellite channels.
