Shafi-Nur and Begum Restaurant and Gallery hosted the second international art and photography exhibition on its premises in Purbachal in the city. The exhibition was inspired by Sufi philosophy. It was inaugurated by popular drummer Sheikh Monirul Alam Tipu from the band Warfaze. This exhibition was dedicated to Gharib E Nawaz Hazrat Sheikh Khwaja Syed Moinuddin Hasan Chisti (RA.) Participating artists of the exhibition were:
Bina Sarkar Ellias- Poet and founder-editor-publisher of International Gallerie magazine.india; Pipi Deer -American artist, organised exhibition at Tripoli Gallery; Shadab Shahrokh Hai- Photographer from Canada; Heidi Arc- Simultaneously good at writing, photography and painting, member of NFUK, NSFF, Norwegian Nature photographers, World Photography Organization, Norway; Imran Zaib-Works with different creative art process in Pakistan; Pia Sweeting- Australian artist who has integrated her life with art by training dogs; thinking about dyslexia, racism, global warming and carbon taxes, the mining tax, Julia Gillard, refugee issues, the monarchy and the Australian flag; Amin Rahman James- Freelance photographer, worked in Europe and UK; Nini Antenini- Freelance artist from Australia; Ronni Ahmmed (1971) - Visual artist working throughout the world; Based in Dhaka, Bangladesh; Aman Ullah -Assistant Professor, Department Fine Arts, Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology; Shaila Simi Nur - Sufi poet and artist; and two selected artists from students of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology, Rana Khandokar and Sharmin Sultana.
