ZEE5 Global, the largest OTT platform for South Asian content, has unveiled the first look of its upcoming web series Contract, starring popular Bangladeshi superstars Chanchal Chowdhury and Arifin Shuvoo in the lead roles.
The third local production in Bangladesh of ZEE5 which the OTT platform refers to as a 'magnum opus' original creation, the web series is a high-octane, action-packed political thriller based on the much-appreciated same-titled book by renowned Bangladeshi author Mohammad Nazim Uddin.
After the success of ZEE5's previous two web series Mainkar Chipay and WTFry, Contract promises to be the next big hit for ZEE5, according to the OTT platform. Following these Bengali Originals, Contract will also be free to watch for viewers in Bangladesh.
Already existing as a popular thriller book of Mohammad Nazim Uddin, Contract dives into the murky world of politics, narrating a story of how the rich and powerful exploit the weak and create contract killers for their personal gain.
The ensemble casting of the web series will feature Chanchal Chowdhury and Arifin Shuvoo together for the first-time ever, alongside actors Shamol Mawla, Zakia Bari Mamo, Rafiath Rashid Mithila and Tariq Anam Khan in pivotal roles.
Directed by Tanim Noor and Krishnendu Chattopadhyay, Contract is also featuring Parthe Sarkar as the associate director.
Arifin Shuvoo revealed the first look of the show on Tuesday evening by sharing the official poster on his social media handles.
The ZEE5 App can be downloaded from Google Play Store or the iOS App Store. ZEE5 is also available on www.ZEE5.com. The app is also available on Samsung Smart TV, Apple TV, Android TV and Amazon Fire TV.
Contract is set to release on March 18 at all these available platforms of ZEE5.
