Turongomi Repertory Dance Theatre has brought about a new choreographic production. The production is titled "Bijoyinee" as it upholds the most important part of women power, Puja Sengupta chief of Turongomi has claimed. The production was first staged recently at an award giving ceremony. Then it was aired by Maasranga TV on the occasion of International Women's Day.

Puja Sengupta says that in today's world women are working in various fields with professionalism. But above all these identities and capabilities stands the greatest of them all-'The Victoria.' Puja thinks that women have the power shield against all sorts of evil by dint of love. This is their most important characteristic and that is why each one of them is a Victoria.

The production is a six-minute long dance recital. It holds almost all the familiar ups and downs through a girl's journey of life. Puja thinks that she has tried to hold sixty-minute long plot within a shorter framework. Every girl can relate to the theme of the production she thinks. She claims to have received plaudits for the work. The script, planning, choreography and direction of the recital has been executed by Puja herself while Tanvir Alam Shojib has directed the musical compositions.
