Shahiduzzaman Selim has been elected as the president and Ahsan Habib Nasim has been reelected as the general secretary in the elections for Obhinoy Shilpi Sangha. The election for the apex body of TV drama actors of the country was held on June 21 from 9am to 5pm at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy amidst festivity while the chief election commissioner Khairul Alam Shabuj announced the results in the evening on the same day. Selim secured 325 votes and Nasim 422 votes from the total 516 votes as 516 of 603 enlisted voters cast their votes.

Azad Abul Kalam, Iqbal Babu and Taniya Ahmed have been elected as vice-presidents. Rownak Hasan and Anisur Rahman Milon have been elected as joint-secretaries and Noor-e-Alam as financial secretary. Lutfor Rahman George has been elected as organizational secretary, Merazul Islam as office secretary, Pran Rai as print and publication secretary, Rashed Mamun Apu as event secretary, Shamima Sultana Tushty as law and welfare secretary and Sujat Shimul as information and ICT secretary.

The seven-member-executive committee comprises of Nadiya Ahmed, Selim Mahbub, Zakia Bari Mom, Bannya Mirza, Munira Begum Memi, Shams Sumon and Rajib Salehin.
